Sample age breakdown:

PK: 20-min. Ice breaker, illustrator sketches, read book, sing a song.

K-1: 30-min. Ice breaker, illustrator sketches, read book, behind the scenes of How a Book is Made—from manuscript to manufacturing and finished book, involving rolling GIANT story dice, volunteers, and audience participation.

2-3: Two Options:

- 30-min. How a Book is Made.
- 40-min. Writing Workshop—focusing on creating a main character in our group story, middle of the story tips, and one of Kris’ super-secret writing techniques, all involving rolling GIANT story dice, volunteers, and audience participation.

4-5: Two Options:

- 30-min. How a Book is Made.
- 50-min. Writing Workshop—everything I cover in the 45-minute presentation, including creating a group story, rolling the GIANT story dice, volunteers, and audience participation. PLUS, more story component examples, as well as ENDINGS and why they are so important.

Students can expect:

Education. Entertainment. Volunteers. Audience Participation.
